Our full service, one-stop shop utilizes computer-aided design to tailor your needs before we get started on your work. Our detailed fabrication service provides state of the art work. We finish your project with high-quality finishing with media blasting and powder coat options.
Owner/Fabricator
Cole Janssen
Cole founded Janssen Fabrication in September of 2021, with the hope of being able to be a solution to the local community for their custom metal fabrication needs. Cole’s unique background in racing, completing the Career Academy at Pella High School, and working at Vermeer Corporation rounded out his ability as a high performing metal fabricator. Cole started taking on projects from friends, local farmers, and manufacturers until eventually Janssen Fabrication was born.
Outside of work, Cole is the proud dad of Lillian and Blaney, and husband of Emily Janssen. He loves when his girls stop by to “help” daddy at the shop and looks forward to teaching them how to weld and fabricate some day!

Ross Henning
Growing up on a family farm outside of Hartwick, Iowa and attending Iowa State University for a degree in Agricultural Systems Technology, Ross always had a knack for creativity and a desire to tinker on things. After graduation, Ross accepted a job at Vermeer Corporation as a manufacturing engineer where he supported various product lines, helped introduce multiple new products to the market and ultimately met Cole and Emily. After working alongside Cole at the start of the business, Ross officially joined as co-owner in 2024.
Ross is a dad and husband first to wife Emma and their son, Charlie. He enjoys raising Charlie with ideas and ingenuity both at Janssen Fabrication as well as his parents' and in-laws' farms when he's able to visit or help during the busy seasons.
